Website Stealing What We Post For Trade on SC?

I was googling a coupon I had got frrom a trade to see if I could find out where it's from. The coupon is on my wishlist. Anyways this site comes up with my post that I had posted on Smart Canucks trading forum..with my wishlist. I looked around the site and they have a lot of people off SC's recent tradelists posted on them You can see it here: http://www.hotdealsdaily.net/ Scroll down to the third post...they have mine a few pages back. They post it saying recent deals...it's pretty messed up that someone is stealing our content we write for Smart Canucks! I can't find their contact info anywhere. I don't understand what kind of site this is. I even am seeing brags from SC's bragging forum on there now

I found a bunch of recent post I did on there too. If you click on someones username it bringsyou to their "profile" and brings up every recent post that has been posted on SC as well and a link that links you back to SC.

It's some kind of site that is just stealing everyones "deals" from here, red , kijiji and other sites. And they are making money from the ads... when you google says their traffic is about 300 visits a day! I never seen a site like this b4 and don't really get what they're doing

Good grief...

There has been content from Smartcanucks showing up on other websites for several months now. That's the reason I started putting "Smartcanucks.ca" on my little VOID stickies on my coupon images. Another website had just copied and posted a lot of the images I had made without asking or even letting me know.

I'm not sure what can be done about it. I think it also is an indicator of just how popular and successful Smartcanucks.ca is.

shinelight, I just looked and your original post on this thread reporting them stealing posts... is on their thread, 3rd post down. Trippy! There's an automatic link to your name that copies your posts to that site I guess.

Those of you who are finding your posts there should start your posts with statements like 'if you're reading this post on 'canadian hot deals' you're reading private content stolen from 'SmartCanucks.ca', because they are too lame to make their own content.'

Remember the last incident around spring or summer where somebody was copying a lot of SC stuff to put on her site. Yes, we can have some fun with this one too. You have lots of time on your hands when you're not scouring the town for the latest coupons to help us all keep up to date.

Perhaps on all our deals, freebies. coupon posts etc., we should say that the thread started on Smart Canucks and if you find the post elsewhere it may have been hijacked. Heh. Heh.

Is anyone doing something about this or concern about it? I won't even begin to state how unknowledgeable I am with IT but I am pretty sure there is some programme coding that an IT savvy person could do that can prevent this from occurring again. But I could be wrong??

To be honest, I don't really like the idea of someone creeping on my SC page (man that could not have sounded more coupon geekier lol) and then putting out there for others to see. Anyone else ? Thoughts?
