Nanaimo Year End coffee/trade Dec 13

Well it's come down to our last meeting of the year. Tues Dec 13 7pm

As discussed at our last meeting I am willing to hold this one at my house. (pm me for the address if you can make it.)

Also a cookie exchange was mentioned. I love baking so I'm in on that one. Never done one before so how many do I need to bake?

I will make coffee and tea so just bring all those good Dec 31 expiry coupons with you. Sadly I'm almost ready to part with mine.

DH has agreed to take himself out to a movie that night so the house will be ours. :lolsign:

For the cookie exchange (if anyone is interested) it usually goes by how many people are attending or want to participate. So if 6 people want to do it then 6 dozen cookies. 1 dozen for each participant. At least that's how I understand it.

Yes, Jamie you're right, that is how the cookie exchange works. I would love to come and would love to be in on the cookie exchange as well. I will pm you for your address maple188,and closer to the date if you could just let me know how many are in the cookie exchange so I know how many dozen to make. Thank you

Need suggestion. Can someone post this again on FB. Only thing. How would I get them the address? I have a FB account but don't have a clue how to use it.

i would like to take part in the cookie exchange please also if there are more than 6 people interested in the cookie exchange then we should split it up so we aren't making 12x dozen cookies kinda thing also a really good idea is to include the recipe for the cookies (not only so others can make it again, but for allergy purposes)

i think that would be ok, as long as no one who is doing the cookie exchange has a major issue with peanuts (i won't eat them, but i won't die if i taste them kinda thing, so not really an issue for me, and i am hosting christmas, so yummy treats are good to have on hand)

I finally got through my binder last night. Holy **** do I have a huge pile of dec expiries. My binder is going to be practically empty come Jan 1.

Hello ladies, I was really looking forward to coming out and meeting everyone at your Dec coupon trading at Maples house but hubby was late from work. I'm really new to SC so don't know if this is the correct place but I have some coupons that are expiring that I'd be happy to just give away if someone wants them. I also put them on facebook as a trade and emailed some friends about them but honestly, I really would be just as happy if someone just got to use them before they expire. I have 3 Lee's chicken (Nanaimo) free kids meal (value $6.99) when you buy one item expires Dec 31st. I also have 6 X P&G inserts for Pampers: $5 offdiapers, $2.50 off WUB diapers and wipes, $2 off diapers all expire Dec 31st. Please send me a message if you want any of these.
