Ok. I thought I would ask because people give very different responses when it come to $5 Amazon gc codes.

Could I please get an opinion of what value FPC and/or HV coupons would be good for a $5 gc?
    Thanks

In the other thread, very few ppl said they trade Amazon differently than regular GCs, some do value them lower but not sure how many trades they get as a result since the consensus was they are $5

    For $5 GC

    • $10 worth of HV coupon(s) - same / $3 GC / $20 reg coupons <-- $ 3GC so $5 would be around $16HV
    • $10 worth of FPC coupon(s) - same / $5 GC / $25 reg coupons <-- $5 GC

So two or three Lunchmate PINs aren't worth much, am I right?

I don't normally buy these, and don't anticipate buying them regularly, but my DS has been asking for them since school started. Now they're 3/$5 at Superstore, and my DS has been very good lately, so I bought three.

According to ppl in the know, 99% of lunchmates are worth $5 (lunchmate dollars) and you would need 25 codes for $5

So 5 codes per $1 gc, so 2-3 is worth a stamps worth of coupons??

Some ppl want them badly for the bigger prizes and trade as much as $5 reg coupons per code

Lunchmate codes are also a wee bit less because the demand is not as high as Pampers or Huggies or icoke codes I think.

I spoke to several ppl who trade for them in making the list and they seem to trade them higher than 'true value' so there is definitely a market for them

I will trade $5 in my reg. coupons per lunchmate code but I like to make the trade for a bunch of codes so it is worth the postage for me as just a few codes is not worth a trade alone.

i must have missed in the other thread were they valued the amazon.ca the same as a $5 GC. I was under the impression that this was what others thought (copied and pasted from old thread):

post: "So I see that a $5 amazon.ca code is worth less than a $5 gc and a $5 GC is usually @ $50 in coupons so what would be a coupon value for a amazon code. I was offered a $5 chapmans for a $5 amazon code? Thoughts?"

post: "bluz I think it depends on the person I myself have traded a 5.00 Chapmans just for the fact it wasn't that hard to get points that time around did a couple surveys ect. I enjo free icecream so why not "

post: "I would accept this offer too! "

These were posted in October, have things changed since then? I have traded according to these posts above and now that I am looking for amazon.ca codes I am getting people looking for all kinds of FPCs in exchange for them. Ranging from anywhere from $12 in FPCs to $50 in FPCs. I am getting really confused trying to trade for these. I am starting to think its not worth it and I should stick to trading FPC for FPC.

It really is what ppl are comfortable with, as I said, some ppl do trade them lower (and some ppl trade all GCs lower) and how rare the FPCs are. Personally I have traded a $5 GC for $10 FPCs that I really wanted, I have also given $25 in HV coupons to get one.

Most ppl who trade them do it for SDM at 2500 pts per $5 GC - just because they didnt publicly post doesnt mean it isnt what they usually are worth

    Hi
I have a 25$ Kernels Popcorn Gift Card. I was hoping to trade it for amazon codes. How many do you think is fair? I was thinking 15-20$ worth? Or is that asking too much? I have never traded away a gift card before

    Thanks in advance!!

In the last month I have probably gotten 80$ in amazon codes through trades. I am usually asked for about 15$ worth of FPC's and I feel that is fair

I get tons of people wanting my entire list of FPC's for 5$ though. Its really annoying and kind of ofensive. Like in what world is it fair that I give 60$ in FPC's for a 5$ code! HA!

I would say $15-20 Amazon for a Kernels GC is fair

$10-15 FPCs are traded for most GCs so again, seems Amazon goes for same as them (IME certain GCs are easier to trade and go for more: SDM & WM, then Timmies, then other national grocery stores, then Chapters/Indigo, then regional grocery stores then Starbucks and other stores (clothes baby etc which are more specialist)
