Rebates are a little different than straight GC for GC so depends on each one
some factors to consider
- you may never get the GC from Kelloggs
- you can't stack them
- you need to mail the cardboard back to Kelloggs costing postage
So to get 2 x forms, they would be mailing the GC to you, mailing the forms and waiting for the GCs to show - but $4 is still fairly fair
No, it was not for other FPC coupons. I don't have Safeway near me and I've never been able to get sunlight on BOGO.
someone is asking for 200.00 for 100,000 sdm points. what is a fair counter offer?
Thanks
Technically you could get $250 worth of stuff at sdm for the points at the mega redemption, but the inflated prices at SDM make the extra $50 kind of a big whoopty doo, especially when with the WM GC you have the luxury of waiting for a sale. Not worth it for $200, honestly. I'm not sure what I would offer but it wouldn't be over $150.
I have used my SDM points for everything from a netbook to a camera to groceries
Just be careful, last year there were major problems with SDM points being stolen the day of the major redemption.
Mine were stolen, it was totally embarassing at the till with a cart full of video games (x-mas presents)
SMD said they would not credit me back my points (worth $125) because my account history showed more than the allowable amount of transfers (I had transferred points in, 6 times, two family members and 4 SC'ers in a two month period) but they don't state what is the allowable #.
A large transfer in may cause attention to your account. And believe me, you don't have a leg to stand on to protest missing, stolen points. The fine writting is very vague in their favor.
Doesn't the fine print state that no transfer of points allowed other than between family members?
Its funny that this topic came up because I've been thinking about this myself. I notice that a lot of people value the .com/.ca codes as lower, which is fine, but that's not how I value them. I don't just sit there & click away to get codes, I find it takes me forever to add up to even just a $5 .com/.ca code. Since I know that a lot of people look for the codes, I have no problem purchasing one for coupons that I'm looking for, but I am trading them as a full value GC, because I am actually purchasing them from the amazon websites....
