I was wondering everyone's opinion about stamp value? I have a few too many stamps and want to trade for coupons....is $5.00 hand picked coupons/stamp about right?

SOOO TRUE, some newbies have to learn just to say " NO THANKS, THANKS FOR YOUR TIME", and stop arguing and stop teaching the value of trades , it is not hard to just say no thanks. period

I had PMd you back letting you know where I got some sort of guideline/info on how to possibly trade them for a GC (here), because I didnt want to offend you with the offer you already seemed offended by. I thought I was polite in that PM and received an aggressive, and kind of rude PM from you. Not a big deal at all, I'm not upset or offended!! I posted here to try and find out people's opinions and advice thinking I could possibly be mis informed, and didn't intend to call you out on anything on this thread!! I apologize for any confusion on my behalf and I totally agree with both parties being satisfied and happy with their trade. Sometimes a simple No, thanks will do though.

Your right a simple NO Thanks will do most of the time However to prevent people from been taking advantage of including myself which happens alot I feel the need to state my opionion when the offer is Not reasonable so it doesn't happen again (People are very Sneaky) Everyone who was Not involved in the message with Adrianna and Myself needs to Politely butt out and stop commenting so I don't have to see comments about a trade dispute that was 20 days ago. yes we dont have to teach other traders the trade value(except if someone ask you) because we are all on this page and we all read this thread again and again, traders value trades differently and a simple no thanks is all that is needed , again it is my opinion, thanks

You were not in the trade and have no idea what was said in the messages even if someone is Saying someone was rude. Your comment Saying we should not be teaching each other about trade values well as I can see that is why we are on this page to see what is fair. There's a reason my first post on here about what movie tickets are worth didn't have specifics and details (I.e names, and PM info.) so this wouldn't turn into a now "public dispute". If people are going to post in PUBLIC forums everyone has the right to comment, in a respectful way of course! The public nature of forums allow for this although I am not one to call out names simply to keep it amicable.

I do not want to see full text of PMs or people named in this thread, it is meant to be an anonymous way of asking. Sometimes the trader asking is in the wrong, sometimes it is the person they are trading with - that is exactly what this thread is for.
As a new trader, I left SC for some time myself after being bullied by someone who didn't like my offer even though three other traders I PMed accepted it with no negotiation. Some people DO want too much for their coupons, this is not meant to be a money making scheme, it is meant to be sharing at a fair rate

Mandy, I think you are also missing Elizabeth's point - she means don't do it in PM because it comes across as personal and aggressive, they can learn rates from this thread (where this discussion is meant to happen)
