Is this coupon considered a HV coupon right now?
In my opinion is to expensive doing the trade because you are not doing any savings.
    What do you think?

I would, if I had spares - personally, I do not consider most coupons HV unless BOGO or real HV call outs because you cant guarantee crazy sales

the only HV ones for me are ones that are always a price close to that (like the J&J $3)

Can any trade guru help pls? I haven't done many trades of FPC in return for GC and not sure what to ask? If I have a FPC for Nestle Alsoy baby formula (powder can 730g), no max retail value, how much is a fair asking price in GC OR regular coupons? I don't know what the "sale" price of this item is usually, but I see it's around $30 regular price?

Just interested as to what a $5 Similac Cheque is worth in terms of trades? Are they just considered to be a $5 coupon? Same question with regards to Ensure cheques.

    Thanks!

I noticed the FPC/GC value and was wondering if a better valuation of it could be discussed as, I have had alot of people wanting $ for $ FPC/GC when comparing to the regular sale item of that product.

Just wondering what others think (sorry haven't read through the thread) But a lot of FPC's have a Max value on the FPC is triple then what the regular, not on sale, price of the product is.

Like, I once had someone offer me 4 Sunlight FPCs for a $10 GC, when on sale for $2.99, I could go buy 4 bottles for $12, less if I have coupons, then less my stamp, where would the savings be?

Or, the Maxx Kitty Litter coupons have a max value of $14.99, when the kitty litter is what, $5-$7ish? So, you'd be paying $7.50 for an FPC valued at $15 for a product that is half the price of that.

I think the values on FPCs can be really deceiving and some sort of mutual agreement should be had on what the "regular item cost" on the product is. I once was had, trading for a $20ish FPC, thinking the coupon was for the larger size of the product, comes in the mail and it's for the smallest size the line has, I was quite disappointed yet deceived based on the high value of the FPC. I suppose it was my lesson learned for not requesting all the specific information, and assuming based on the value of the coupon, and theirs for intentionally not disclosing it.

I was wondering about the inserts too actually. Considering the P&G offers potential savings over a $100, I traded for a stamp each. I have no idea how much they are worth. To me it would be a case by case but that really doesn't help...:s

re Similac/ Ensure/Pediasure cheques - they are rung in at the end of a transaction by London Drugs as part of the payment so I would say that they are worth a dollar for a dollar, just like cash in hand!! I dont need to have any cpns to be able to use them.
there are no restrictions that I know of, other than the expiry date and using it to pay for the correct product.

regarding the P and G inserts, I do each trade on a individual basis, also checking what cpns we can add to the trade, to increase the value and make good use of sending each other envelopes in the first place.

The Brandsaver inserts are worth at least to start with at Walmart the $1.00 rinse and the free floss which I have only found to be around $3.50 up to $3.99...not on sale .....if on sale then its not at Walmart and that store will not have the trial size Rinse......plus the $1.00 overages on the Charmin....
so for me each insert is valued at least at $ $5.50c ....
would I expect to get that....of course not!!

that being said, usually if the trade includes other cpns that I really want then I am very flexible.......that is the whole point of trading for me.
To be able to find the cpns I need and to be able to help my monthly budget.
Sure I would love a mit full of gift certificates, as my budget is non existant, but flexibility in the end gets me further!!

What gets me is if I offer a very generous offer, which I did recently for the Brandsavers, and a trader turns me down.....yikes!! I was left shaking my head and wondering what did she really want!!
25 Brandsavers for all the sample sizes she wanted and many more , for a few FPc worth around $16.00 yikes!!

There are many people who trade SS for like $0.50 on a GC, and P&G $1 on a GC per insert + their postage to mail. There are also lots of wonderful people on here who will send them to you just for a few things off their WL to make up for their postage. A Sunday paper is around what, $1.50/$2? If you get them delivered to your home it's less then $1 per paper depending on what you're subscribed to. I think anything more then $1 per insert is too much to ask, because exceeding that what stops someone from just asking for 20 papers to be delivered to their home for inserts.

I think the assumption that one will immediately get the free Crest Oral-B rinse and the Dental Floss is somewhat flawed. Both Walmarts in my town are completely out of stock and even a daily check on my way home from work yields nothing. Same with the Charmin. So although those deals are a possibility, they can be difficult to achieve.

I have traded a number of times with someone back East for SmartSource and P&G and $1 for each insert (on a Gift Certificate) has been her going rate.
