The contest closes on February 29, 2012. You can nominate places until January 31, 2012 and vote until 12:00 midnight, Pacific Standard Time on February 29, 2012.

All nominators in this contest are entered into a random draw for prizes

The Prizes consist of VIA Rail travel vouchers (value $1500), feature articles in up! Magazine, and Roots gift cards (value $200).

A plaque will be presented to the Mayor in each of these locations, and certificates will be awarded to the nominators.
