Redeemed for a Nintendo 3DS for me at SDM this weekend so wanted some games just for me. Zellers has a BOGO 1/2 off sale on games under 29.99 and under this week. So popped in to take a look and I saw the dinosaurs game that got rave reviews on Amazon. Wanted one with replay value, not a game you finish and then put aside.
Got two 3DS games
Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Shadow Wars, reg 19,99
Combat of Giants Dinosaurs 3D, reg 19.99, sale 9.99

This is the lamest sale from a marketing point of view. You only get this deal if both your games are under 29.99. The whole point is to get rid of old stock. You don't get this deal if you buy a more expensive game. I wanted Star Fox 64 3DS but can't get second game for half price. Someone should talk to Zellers higher up management why their games are not selling. Why would I buy a game at Zellers for same price that I could get at Future Shop? At least I could go to SDM and get a GC and then use GC to get Future Shop GC and get optimum points.

i havent been to a zellers in months and months. the one where i used to live always looked like a bomb went off. such a mess.

I only go to zellers once a year right around xmas when everyone gives us gift cards.....we never shop there

ToysRUs is having a buy one get second at 40% off. Got myself 2 games. Tintin was released today. So happy I got what I want because sale ends Thursday.
