Yes you can. Simply click the Ottawa citizen link with your iPod or such. Then click the " click here" link. It will give an option to open with iTunes. Click yes. It will give you the 5 free song list with free written on it. U can dowload it directly. I found this out when I had already downloaded them. I hope this helps.

As long as you have an iTunes account (free to create) you can download the freebies. They are sponsored by the major newspapers around Canada but you don't have to be a reader to get the songs/movies/apps

Coldplay mini album is the first gift...just downloading as I type.
