    Oh he makes me laugh sometimes! It is a good thing that he's FINALLY done all the math and realized just how much those points saved us over the years. I haven't tallied the savings just from SDM but it's been a decent haul for 2011. (Kudos to SCers for your tips to help me do that!)

    And on top of that we've also saved more then $4,000 this year thanks to great loyalty programs and coupons.

    I think it really hit home, though, when I got two of his wish list items for free at Mega Redemption and told him the full savings in that one trip!

    Well, wouldn't ya know a few weeks later and he's already asking me how many points I've got?!

    Well if he wants in, he's gotta be a cart handler at the next redemption...fair trade right?

    LMAO!.. thats how hubby got hooked.. when he found out how much my points would get us in free stuff. he was like cool do I get my own basket.. hmm i guess..considering that he saved my butt many a times when i screwed up coupons or something as such. he totally deserved it.

    My dear fiancé is so on board as well... He usually helps with the carts at 20x events but missed the mega redemption (when I really needed the extra set of hands but he had a good excuse). Next time for sure. It really is amazing the savings with the loyalty programs and coupons.

    Mine is not so keen yet on the SDM points but I do have him convinced to do every Canadian Tire scratch event now.... it is a small leap forward. :D He hates shopping at all.

    That would be nice but my hubby isn't there yet. He gets embarressed when I use so many coupons. But he will love his NHL PS3 game when he gets it for Christmas.     I have a very lana son (anal). Very embarassed with the use of coupons and loyalty programs. He is getting married next year and low and behold I think the light bulb went on this month. He has started asking about sdm points and could he get enough pts for a tv so they could raffle it off at the stag. I guess there is hope for everyone.
