Im a happy camper just went to bed bath and beyond and bought kuerig and they accept the 50% on that and they let me use 3 more (there was three other ppl with me) in the same transaction on the cups

i hate tassimos too. poor planet earth. all that packaging waste. and i wonder what plastic they use for the pods in this high temp application and if its leeching into coffee.

Now it's clear why Zellers is going under.
A 50% off coupon on just regular prices would have been welcomed but sweeten by adding the sale items and then taking it away just leaves a sour taste in the mouth.
Zellers needs a Target, they just shot themselves in the foot. hehe

Absolutley brilliant comment. I coupon for things I need and am relatively minimalistic compared to most. I could never buy a product that creates so much waste. Heres to you planet Earth

I'm choked that they pulled the conditions on the coupon too. We already got what we needed (a shelf that was on sale and easy ups, plus some 60% off Christmas lights). Everyone in my house used the coupon twice, at two different stores. Zellers should have put something in place so that people could not so easily abuse the coupon. Even offering 50% off items and 25% off sale items or something would have made them look a lot better than they now do.

Aw geez I am a total environmental F-up then because I bought one of those for my dad.

Oh well just bury me in the landfill with all the k-cups then.

as someone else just pointed out on FB that there was a previous coupon issues by zellers. and it also stated on that one that it CAN be used with flyer deals.. NO correction on their part for that coupon.. thats NOT fair. you dont' get to pick and choose because you didnt' realize ahead of time how many ppl would you use it.

I am SOOOO happy. I called Zellers bc I wanted the Tassimo carisole and of course none in stock, so I went to Bed, Bath and Beyond and they didn't have it, but they agreed to give it to me for 1/2 price and ship it for FREE! Normally $24.99 + tax , I got it for $14.11 tax incl.

Also got Cadbury Hot chocolate tassimo for $5.49 with 1/2 price coupon!

Does anyone know if Zellers carries the attachments for the KitchenAid mixer? This is probably the only way I'll get the pasta attachment. I already have the mixer (have had it for a few years).

IDC if Zellers were losing $$$... whoever review that cupon and let it go public should pay for the loses. These promotions are going trough a bunch of ppl until they get out to general public. It's not like 5 sec decision of a person.

Okay here is the story of Chris & Zellers!

First of all, he didn't see the retraction before he went. He had 2 coupons on him so off he went. He did look around and there were no coffee makers to be found.... and he didn't see anything else so he grabbed a 4L of milk and bought that for 50% off!

After Zellers, he went and did some other shopping and ended up buying a Keurig Coffee Maker at Canadian Tire with his gift card from his nephew. So then he thought that maybe he could get Zellers to call the store in Ancaster to see if they had any coffee makers. So he went into the Customer Service counter and there in front of him was a woman returning a Tassimo! Long story short, he bought the Tassimo she returned, walked around the store and found the discs and realized the lack of selection... so went back to CS and returned the Tassimo after all!

Then he went down the coffee aisle and found the Folgers KCups. They were 11.89 for 16 of them. He grabbed a box and checked out and got 50% off those.

Then he remembered that before Christmas, he had given his friend a bunch of coupons for the Folgers KCups and she lived nearby. So he went to her house, got the coupons and printed off 2 more of the 50% off coupons and kidnapped her bf and went back to Zellers! He got 2 more boxes and with the $1.50 coupons, they were less then $5 each!

So now he has 48 KCups plus the ones that came with the machine... so he should be good for a bit. Plus when he registered the coffee maker online, they sent a coupon for buy 2 boxes get 2 free, so will have to check that out too!!!

So although he could not buy sale items, he still made out okay in the whole scheme of things!
