Dear Zeddy, I don't care how much I can save - that definately wasnt a misprint - YOU LIE. ZELLERS will not be receiving 50% nor 100% of the retail cost on ANYTHING in that store, from my wallet, ever again. Smoke that you psychotic bear.

Teehee, I originally took that one, before this whole fiasco because I knew I'd need screenshotted proof to be able to use a coupon and PM at my stupid, horrible Zellers! I just happened to still have it when the storm hit, so I posted it to a Kamloops couponing page and one of my fellow Kamloops couponers posted it to Zellers' page.
I smirk a little every time I see it reposted by somebody new!

The compitition act is in place for adds that were printed in error and Zellers looks like they are trying to sway it into their favor. I don't know who Zellers thinks they are trying to kid here. The combination of not only accepting the coupon publicly and endorsing it as well on facebook confirmed it was legit from the on set. Only when they had a overwhelming response did a problem occur and they tried to back out of the deal. Any person that has printed coupon while the deal was being accepted and endorsed should be allowed to use it. This was not a situation where the coupon was corrected from the onset and pulled off the internet. They not only allowed the 50% coupon, they continued to endorsed it on facebook until they looked at the numbers. It was not a mistake... Zellers we know it wasn't a mistake for you yourselves have proven it very publicly. I am truly disappointed in the blaten dishonesty i believe this company is putting forth.

was price matching and using a manufactuer coupon together just brought back recently? Because not too long ago, my zellers looked it up in their binder and said nope you can't price match and use a coupon together. So now we can? Because I'm definitely going to copy this and bring it in next time...

Went to use this coupon today only to get embarrassed not fun. I went in the morning before I even saw anything about them retracting it and the only signs they had were at the tills which I didn't see till I got there and with being pregnant and towing along a cranky toddler not fun. I was trying to get a car seat and stroller and had to get my other half to bring it to the counter then I waited in line and only to get told no and get told several times I should still buy it as its a good deal then asked what I wanted to do if I was going to put it back myself :S not even as at that point I was alone with a my daughter because my boy friend went to go check out his own things and buy a not on sale item of hockey goalie pads with his coupon. Such a waste of time I'm more disappointed at the fact I shop there a lot and got most of my christmas gifts there and now I can't even use the coupon to get something I will need. Or how I had no idea until I was at the till and was almost pressured into buying something anyway.

Zellers changed their coupon policy in November and it does allow for price matching and the use of a coupon and here is why.... Zellers has a low price guarentee... you know the jingle "cause at ZELLERSSS the lowest price is the law" so they meet advertised prices as they are their own and that is totally different then using a coupon... a coupon is part of your payment method and is totally seperate from the price match. If they don't allow you to use a coupon it would be similar to them not allowing you to pay with cash or credit or gift certificate or any other payment form. Here is the Zellers link to the coupon policy... it is down at the moment in the heat of everything going on but i am sure it will be up again soon. It confirms that you can in fact price match and use coupons. There are other changes as well and it is worth the read.

I hope that helps!
