Help - I need advice!
I got a letter in the mail today from Air Wick regarding a mail in rebate that I submitted about a month ago. They claim in the letter that my original receipt that I submitted was not dated. First of all, thats garbage. The receipt was from Wal Mart, it was the original, and it was dated (as we all know that ALL receipts from Wal Mart are dated). They have requested that I resubmit my entire request for a mail in rebate, including the original receipt and the original UPC code.....however, how the heck am I supposed to do that if they have the original receipt and the original UPC code? And where do I even get another mail in rebate request? I don't even know where I got the original one anyways. I would NEVER have purchased their stupid candle in the first place if I wasn't getting a full refund. There is ZERO contact information on the letter except for the refund fulfillment address, so there is no way that I can even contact them and tell them that they are on crack. I'm tempted to just resend the letter back to them with a letter from me explaining that they have everything I need to get a full rebate. What would you do?

I'd suck up the loss.
In future keep photocopies of what you send in for rebates.

You can look up the Airwick contact phone number online, they can always re-direct you if you need to speak with someone else.

I have a photocopy of the original receipt. However, the letter clearly states that it requires the original receipt. I have located the 1-800 air wick Canada phone number and I will be calling them in the New Years.
Thanks for your advice.

This happens to me almost every time I send away for a mail in rebate.

Grr - Call them and see what they say. You have the photocopy of the original reciept, so you can tell them the date and amount - and fax them a copy if need be. I did find a printable copy of the rebate form http://www.loadedconcept.com/AIRWICK...bons_nov11.pdf
if that is the one you are looking for. Good luck. I hate MIRs. They are so iffy!

has anyone noticed where the candle and scented oil are cheapest in Edmonton?
