The RBC® Black History Month Student Essay Competition

Open to legal Canadian residents who reside in the Greater Toronto Area and are high school students at the start of the Competition Period and who have applied to a Canadian College or University in the 2012/2013 academic year

The Competition opens at 12:01 pm EST on Monday, December 9th, 2011 and ends on January 13, 2012 at 8:00 pm EST

First Place:

Fifteen hundred dollars ($1,500) awarded to the student selected as the first place winner of the Competition.

Second Place:

One thousand dollars ($1,000) awarded to the student selected as the second place winner of the Competition.

Third Place:

Five hundred dollars ($500) awarded to the student selected as the third place winner of the Competition
