Mega Redemption: Items need to be return or exchange?

We redeemed for the Wii Fit Plus board and also redeem for the Wii Fit Plus software, wifey didn't know it already included in the Wii Fit Plus Board, so now we are stuck with 2....

The time she bought it the total was $278 and that was $28+ out of the pocket, the game was $24.99...so I wonder can she return the game and get cash back or store credit at some source or she can't PERIOD since most store don't offers return on electronic.

Also, does it has to be return at the same store or any store will be fine?

I had a similar issue. I bought a couple of PS3 games on mega redemption but one of them was not on the kids wish list. So I went to another SDM that had the one I needed hoping to exchange it but since that store did not carry the game I was wanting to bring back, they could not issue me a gift card refund. So I bought the one I needed and had to go back to the original store that I purchased the game on Mega Redemption and they issued me a gift card refund.

I'm not trying to mean, but those are all questions you need to ask the SDM it was bought at instead of SC.

Just from my time here, I've noticed that not all SDMs are the same when it comes to electronics. Some will return, some will only exchange and some will not do anything.

You will get a much faster answer if you just call or just go there with the item and receipt.

If they say no, try calling another SDM and see if they can do it.

Also, some SDMs require it to be same store and others not. The ones here have to be the same store.

And you're pushing the 30 days pretty close, no?

By pretty close, I mean extremely. Mega redemption was dec 3-4, right? You have until midnight today if you bought it on the 4th and go to a 24hr one. I'd have gone straight there to be honest.

I seem to remember reading in winter 2010 that you would receive an SDM gift card in the amount of the item, so perhaps the policy has changed since then? or maybe I am not remembering this correctly? anyways, I hope you were able to return your wii board, daddy_of_2_girls.

Since the game was $24.99 won't the op only get 2400 points returned. Be more cost savvy just to sell it in the long run or even save it for a present for someone else down the road.

I was able to return items after Christmas (Jan 7th) that were bought during mega redemption...but it had to be at the store I purchased it...

I have returned games and gotten gift cards which I used to buy the right ones but I always do so promptly. Usually a week. For something like that they may think it has been used in that period of time and be cranky about returning it.
