At RCSS in Oshawa, the bank had a sign saying you can get the free book if you open a PC financial mutual fund account.

So you just follow the link and sign up? Do you have to proof that you are their customer??? And it's free??

Yeah, they do check that you are their customer by checking your e-mail.
I enetered a different e-mail at first and they didn't let me sign up and said that my e-mail didn't match with the one that they have on record.

Has anyone ever gone to events like this hosted by PC?

I am a PC fan, so I usually signup or join their stuff, but this seems to be new stuff they are doing
