great idea for a thread. reading about milestones i have experienced with my LOs aready brings back great memories!
so my 5 year old is apparently giving his SK teacher some difficulties so we have had more negative reports than positive. one day i was off and went to pick him up at school, it wasnt quite time yet and all the kiddies were putting the toys away and going back inside. the teacher had a trailer that all the kids were pilling the toys on and then theyd run inside. my son walked up to the teacher and took the handle from her and said "ill help you take it in". i was soooo proud of him (he had no idea i was there). maybe he just wanted to pull the wagon but i think it was super sweet of him and he later got an award for being a very helpful kid in the class which i scanned and emailed to everyone i know, lol.
So today it finally happened. I got bit. Not only does DS have one wonderful tooth poking out of his bottom gum, now he has a matching pair! He's in so much pain it makes me want to cry. I'm having a hard time getting him to eat but now I'm afraid of letting him near my boob.
Any advice on how to avoid more teeth marks would be greatly appreciated!
I have no advice, but ouch! Sorry you got bit :(
I wanted to share this little story: Last night I commented to my 4 year old son that he was growing up. His reply? "Where's my moustache?" (said while rubbing his upper lip) It was all I could do to not burst out laughing at him, it was soo funny! I told him he has a lot more growing up to do first :)
This was a great idea for a forum, too bad it didn't keep going...
I'm so excited for all these milestones, except I tell my DD everyday that she's not allowed to grow up or ever get teeth if she wants to keep the boob (she's now 3months old and has been able to sit up on her own since 2 months)

Teeth shouldn't matter if baby is latched on correctly. My DS got teeth at three months, and I nursed until he was about 14 months and had a mouthful of them. No biting unless he was trying to be funny, and the food immediately got taken away if he chomped me! He learned that's not the thing to do if you wanna eat at Mom's Dairy! :)
I forgot all about this thread! But since it is here, I must show you all my little guy who we got on video walking. He just turned eleven months and is starting daycare next week! Can't believe I go back to work on Monday!

And here he is again having a giggle fest with his Godfather 'Uncle' Luc. :P

My 4 month old now loves "talking" and playing "peek-a-boo" its hard to get her to go to bed now though, because she is constantly pulling the blanket up over her face wanting to play. But the big gummy smile she has when she brings it down is just too cute!!

We celebrated Noah's first birthday this weekend and of course we had to record the eating of the cake. Yummy Nummy!
