Hey guys! I need your help!
Looking for a good tough snow tube (a nice big one) in the Ottawa area. Anyone know where I can find one? I see lots of small flimsy tubes at CTC, Walmart, etc.. But I want one that wont pop as soon as you use it. (like the old fashioned tire tubes.

Why don't you check with your local tire stores? They may have some that they will give to you, or you can pay a small fee to patch them up?
I remember having these big ones in the pool and on the hill when I was growing up. I am sure my parents didn't pay for them at all, and they lasted forever!

I have heard rave reviews about the quality of those LL Bean ones on another forum I am on! In fact, I searched all over the internet for one last year and they were completely sold out.
I didn't realize how expensive they were, but maybe if you order online you can wait for a store sale or sign up and see if you get any coupon codes.
I am hesitant to order one now, because it doesn't look like we'll EVER get enough snow to use that thing around here:roll eyes:
But.. we all know it's coming.

My father used to get truck tire tubes then again he worked for Canada Dry. I bet if you go to a tire shop they would give you one or as Minou mentioned a place that has tractor tires.
Oh a tire recycle plant is another idea.
