Two questions about No Frills...

in the flyer this week it said something about "Look out for something big next week," does anyone know what that something big is?

Also are No Frills and Independant Grocery stores part of the Loblaws chain of stores. I know No Frills is, wasn't sure about Independant?

Yes, they are both owned by Loblaws. As far as I know anyways.

I think it is the $1 sale too, when i was in there last night they already seemed to have a lot of things up for $1 and $2, and alot of other stores did it this week

Yes its their $ 1.00 , $ 2.00 , $ 3.00 sale coming up . Good time to load up

Don't forget you can price match at the other stores like Wal Mart , Zellers , Freshco etc ..so you don't have to go to NF if you don't want to . Its often a Zoo in there during this sale & some of the stuff gets sold out pretty fast . My local NF has a crappy parking lot ..you don't even get parking over there during these sales ..it fills up pretty past . So sometimes I just go to Freshco for a PM ( its walking distance from my house )

Having my dd in 8 days and need to stock up as I am having a c section and will be immobile and my dh can't grocery shop very well. He will go in with $80 and end up buying 3 days worth of stuff lol
