Seems like another glitch. I just ordered coffee from Timothys for my Mom. Here's what it cost. Now free shipping and no tax???

There is no tax charged on K-cups to begin with . . . they are considered grocery/food items and are tax exempt. I have never paid tax on K-cups.

The tax charge that was incurred originally was $1.03 which is HST on the $7.95 shipping charge, and since the shipping charge has been removed, so has the taxes.

Maybe they had so many people complain about having to pay shipping to get their BOGO offer that they removed the shipping charges.

For some reason I couldn't get it to work for me but I did end up getting 2 for $17.45.

I had to play around with it, but finally got 3 boxes for 18.45, no shipping.

Do you think if I call them tomorrow and try to cancel my order so I could rebuy it without shipping charges (I paid the $26-something), they will let me? Or refund the shipping to my credit card?

Finally got it to work. It was driving me nuts, lol. I didn't realize you had to click on the promo thing on the main page of timothys website to get the free Columbia excelencia.

Yes it a good deal-3packs, free shipping and if you click on repeat the order-under credit card info you get a travel mug too!

I just spoke to Greg (416-373-0040) @ Timothy's and he confirmed there was a glitch in the system and that everyone who placed an order on the weekend should have gotten 2 free boxes and free shipping. If you did not get this, call him and he will cancel your original order and you can reorder to get the deal. ALSO he confirmed that this offer (FACEBOOKPERK) can be done multiple times per person and you will get 2 free boxes and free shipping with each order- so start ordering ladies!!!!

Just remember that k-cups have a relatively short shelf life. Some of the boxes I purchased in stores "expire" at the end of this month. Though I am not sure coffee can go bad really.

I didn't even have to call Greg, he sent me an email stating the shipping would now be free and then he cancelled my order. (now frankly, why they could not have adjusted for it and kept my order intact I'm not sure). At the end of the day I'm happy to get the $17.45 price for 3 boxes which is only 24c per K cup. I realize free would have been better but this way I am getting 2 kinds I really want plus the box of decaf.

I plan to order more, this is a price that cannot be beat!
