I had planned to go to NF at 8 but with the snow I didn't think it would be a good idea since traffic would be a mess. So At 10:30 I managed to get to NF and prayed I wouldn't get the cranky cashier. What I got:
17 POMs - $1 each -$1 off = free
4 Armstrong cheese = .75 off = $1.25 each
2 boxes of Rice Krispies - $2 off = free (they were actually $2.50 off but they don't give overage)
Then I went to another NF on the way home and got 2 more cheeses and used the .75 off
The cashiers were both really cool even though I dreaded giving the first one all the coupons. All in all, I only paid $7.50 for the cheese and the rest were free!
I got some other things as well, the sale is quite good, especially for Hunt's tomatoes, cranberry juice, orange juice and Jake's bread. How often can you get good bread for $1 a loaf? Never!
The crazy part took place as I tried to push the cart through the not yet ploughed lot! The weight of 6 cranberry's and 17 POMs was too much and I could barely move! I finally had to pull it over some piles of snow, then push again until I got to my carThis thread is currently associated with: No Frills

NF had some great deals today. Sorry about the snow, we still have bare ground here, no snow and not even cold yet (but wait till next week) odd for Alberta. Great job on your shopping!
We all need a little sunshine every now and then

The POM coupons came in a SmartSource back in Dec. I believe. Used my last 2 coupons this am on 8 reduced pomegranates. (4 in each bag) .99 each= FREE.
