Thread: Canadian Tire ad problem
-
Sun, Jan 15th, 2012, 11:14 PM #1
Canadian Tire advertised 10 piece hangers for $2.99 but when I went to the store, they were selling different hangers than the one advertised but in the same cost. The instore hangers were of cheaper quality than the one advertised. I have written to Canadian Tire. Waiting for their reply.

If a store runs out of an item, they can at will replace with a similiar item it does not mean same quality.
So put it this way.. sale price = SOLD out, store had others they want to dump so replaces with them is totally legal and acceptable. Or they could simply say no RAINCHECK and Out OF Stock
As well any picture in flyers is not 100% proof of item on sale, usually they have a clause if you read fine print may or not appear as advertised.
Update: Just looked at flyer and the ones for $2.99 via gas bar, look 100% cheap to begin with have similiar and always breaks.Last edited by theguyz; Mon, Jan 16th, 2012 at 11:55 AM.
