Campaign for Organ Donation... Are you a donor?

Helene who lives in my hometown Ottawa is running a twitter campaign to raise awareness about organ donation. She is hoping that by tweeting Justin Bieber (who has a high number of followers), those followers will sign up to be a organ donor. I personally signed up for it quite some time ago (Everything but my skin and eyes; I know I can't take them with me but I need to get used to the idea first.)

Good to let people know about the program. I tried, but don't qualify. Too bad.

I used to be ....but because I will be recieving a transplant I can no longer be a donor except for research...and sorry but I don't want that...

Does anyone know if being from the UK still exempts me from donating?

I just celebrated my 9th anniversary of my kidney/pancreas transplant. If it hadn't been for the incredible generosity of the donor's family, I wouldn't be here today.

Please, sign your organ donor card.
