Look Mom no hair!!!!!! Update on post #55
Well it has been a long time since I have been in here.. A lot has gone on in my life since.. My mom was told she had colon/rectal cancer which we found out that she also had double lung cancer. Over the summer we dealt with the colon/rectal and she is doing great from that.. Now we are battling the lung cancer head on. Since the beginning I told her if she lost her hair due to chemo I would shave mine. She never lost it in the summer but now that we hit a cold snap she lost hers..LOL Not the best timing but oh well.. But thought you all could use a good chuckle.. I almost peed my pants when I seen myself.. But not a bad shaped melon I thought..
Update: We got word on Friday that she will go for another CT scan to see if the spots are getting smaller or not. For that we are both happy. Not knowing if they are giving her the right chemo is killing the two of us.. So here is hoping that these treatments are the right ones..
I also want to thank each and everyone of you for keeping Mom in your thoughts and prayers if I could hug everyone of you I would in person but this will have to do ((((((HUGS)))))). For those of you that have people you know going through this I am truly sorry that you also have to deal with this. Cancer is not a very fair thing to have..
To those of you that think I was brave or a good daughter for doing this I am not. The people that are battling this awful disease are the brave ones. I am just a daughter who thinks that no one deserves this awful disease and one day god willing they will come up with a cure..
