Thanks for posting Ontest. I always forget to check Adonis for sales.

If I didn't already have 30kg of flour ....lol.

Onions 0,99$/5 lbs. I chop and freeze these so none goes to waste.

We can freeze onions ?? In a Ziploc bag ?? I didn't know that.. You use them in soups or things like that, or directly, like in a hamburger etc. ?? The taste is the same like when they are fresh ??

I use the chopped freezed onions in soups. You can freeze them in ziploc bags or little plastic containers (from baby food for ex.).

hum ok why not... I don't chop and freeze my onion... I just avoid to put them in the same area than the potato!!! Onion are ok for a long period at room temperature or a little bit lower.

And I have a drawer of one of my fridge just for onion (less tears when I chop cold onion then room temperature onion )

I freeze almost all my cheap in season vegy, small for soups and some bigger for rosts or to mash up. Keeps me from buying in winter when they are more expensive, tastless or from buying frozen ready prepared.
