I bought Wicked Nails top coat - Wicked Fast and used it over the Essie (see above) last week - I AM STILL WEARING IT!! NO CHIPS NADA! Looks like I put it on 2 days ago not 7! LOVE THIS TOP COAT and it dries fast!
vee, where did you buy it?
Nails are not suppose to peel. If they are peeling, it is generally a sign that there is an underlying medical condition, so blood work should be done to see if there is anything going on.
My nails were peeling and as it turns out, it was caused my my anemia and related malnutrition.
It took me more than 6 months to get my nails to stop peeling.
Good luck.
My doc is always telling me not to wear nail polish every day because it is bad for your nails (not to mention the nail polish remover etc)
He is used to me ignoring him anyway
How the heck do you paint the nails on your right hand? My now 4 year old has had me painting her fingers and toes for almost a year, now. I never used to do my own nails. Ever. But I thought I'd try this week and it looks like someone threw up on my hands.
I just finished scraping off Head in a Cloud by Quo by Orly.
When I was looking at the summer collection, I noticed that several of the colours were very watery and was a bit put off by them.
This colour did not seem like the others and was a bit fresh looking so I gave it a try. Now I am regretting buying it.
When I applied it, it was very clumpy and thick.
I did dishes 2 hours after and it smudged, even though I used quick dry drops.
4 hours later, it was still so soft that I was able to pull it off.
Not too impressed with the formula. Never had this with a Quo or an Orly polish before.
I find Quo polishes a little hit and miss on formula, their glitters are much better than their cremes which are always watery for me
I too do my right hand first, get some cheap eyeliner brushes and you can easily clean up messy bits too, just dip in nail polish remover/acetone and swipe around the cuticle
I find drying drops only help the top layer, it seems to leave the under layers more wet, I stopped using them
I've had banged up Emma by Julep on my nails for the past week. I've been emptying out a storage unit and it's murder on the manicure. Can't wait to give myself a decent manicure as I feel like a real slob!
