I've had bare nails for over a week! I've been using a strengthener on them so I thought to let them be free for a bit. Will be painting them tonight..not sure yet what colour.

This one and YES YES YES YESSSSS I would recommend it! Its cheap but WOW my nails have not been stronger or whiter since I started using this!
I could never really grow my nails - I used to be a nail bitter and when they would get to a certain length they would just split or start breaking from one side. I've used this now for over 2 months and I will NOT do my nails without this as the base.
Even my fiance commented how my nails had grown nicely!

Another great product for good nails is Omega 3 Fish Oil. This helps from the inside out.

i was wearing a shimmery nude the past few days and last night i wanted to try the new Black Stilleto polish i got, and did a french style streak across the tip of one nail.

i love the combo!

me thinks i need to do a full set, black tipped french manicure tomorrow.

I didn't realise that I could not post an image. I have on a bright red nail polish and I hand painted pretty small flowers (black centres and white petals) using quick dry nail art pens which was on sale at Born Pretty Store. I found that using these pens gave me better control at drawing the flowers.

Vee - I'm trying the hardener...so far so good. So it works ok as a base coat too? Do you use it as a top coat as well? Or is that overdoing it?

i did my black french tips yesterday. i kinda like it, but i may have to jazz them up somewhat the next time i do it. not quite sure how.

I saw a loreal top coat yesterday that was really cool - black sparkles or something. Hadnt seen it before but it was cool.

Just put on Essie Vanity Fairest. There are tiny sparkles you can only see up close, I really like it! For the look in the pic you need about 4 coats:

Bare nails for the past two days. Some nails were chipping badly, so I put on some Julep Oxygen Nail Treatment. I find that it definitely helps.
