    Hey fellow couponers,

Just thought I would post on here to see if any of you are also scrapbookers. I am wondering what are some cheaper alternatives to scrapbooking supplies other than using coupons at Michael's, Wal-Mart or Dollarama? Are there any good surplus stores in Edmonton that carry scrapbooking supplies? Please post on here or pm me if you have any tips on where to look!

    Thanks!

Local scrapbook stores always have crazy clearance too. You can follow the inked stamper on Facebook and she posts stuff. (she's in saint Albert)

I haven't had time to scrapbook in awhile and I'm planning on selling my stash off. I have a Cricut Expression (with new cutting mat, blades and quite a few cartridges - some are unopened) that I'll be selling. I also have tons of paper, stamps, stickers, embellishments, too. PM if you're interested.

Ooh what a great tip! I went there tonight, and I definetly picked up some great chipboard packs for 2.99, and some stickers and paper packs for 3.99. It is just nice having a different selection too, as I find the same old stuff at Michaels and Wal-Mart all the time. Dollarama is hit or miss.

BTW I stopped by a Dollar Giant on Gateway Blvd today, and I was able to pick up some cheap photo corners, stickers and two-sided dots as well for cheap.

I've gotten paper pads on clearance at RCSS and every so often Staples have some of the cut-outs on clearance, really cheap when they have extra 50% off clearance.

Has anyone been able to find stamps at a reasonable price? I have been making my own cards and would like to find some stamps for that.

The only place I know of for stamps is the 40% sales at Michaels. I think one ends today.

I always scoure the $1.50 bins at Michaels for the wooden stamps. I started buying the clear stamps and I found a small clear mounting pad in those bins. I also bought a tonne of pigment ink for 1.50 there as I just got into embossing and only buy the clear embossing powder. When I bought a whole bunch of them, I used a 25% off your whole purchase coupon to get them even cheaper.
