Did anyone else get the Xhose deal? I am pretty sure it said it would expand to 75ft but the one I received only expands to 25 ft.

They have hoses that are 25, 50 and 75 feet. The one offered on Wagjag was the 25 foot one. It says it expands to 3 times its length, maybe thats what you were thinking of? Unfilled its not that long but fill it and it's 25 feet.

It clearly states:

Notice the 75 ft. in brackets. This is what I clearly remember seeing and that's why I ordered this hose.

Surprised anyone lists at that rate. I wonder if the terms were changed because vendors complained that people were using Telus credits simply to get something for free and then were not becoming repeat customers? Why should vendors give Wagjag 50% of the fee for no repeat business?

Now I can see why Groupon and Teambuy always have better offers.Wonder what their commissions are.

Yes, Wagjag wanted 50% of the list price. Crazy! I can see why older, established businesses won't offer deals and why most offers are service-based and/or are new companies trying to increase their market share.

did anyone find some out about the garden hose deal. my hose(i got it today) expands only UP TO 25 ft.... WTF.... it said IT IS A 25ft hose and expands up to 75ft...this short hose is useless for me now.....25ft is too short. sucks.

i believe they all charge 50% commission. In the pitch to vendor, the group buy sites will quote their % unused certificates as well, to make the 50% figure sound better. It's really meant for the business that is struggling to get an injection of cash (all those certificates sold at once) to pay the bills/rent/etc in the short term, and then they worry about filling orders later. This is the vast majority of these deals. Occasionally, you get a solid business that's slow lately go for the group buy deal just to perk up a bit. Most of the time though, these vendors are in a desperate situation and need cash now, and the group buy deal gives them that.
