SDM & Airwick MIR?

I bought an Airwick Scented Ribbons candle from SDM & sent in the MIR. Today I received it back stating that I didn't have the UPC written on the receipt so it was invalid. The original MIR stated that the UPC needs to be on the receipt, but SDM's receipts do not show UPC's. I thought they'd possibly let is slide, but I guess not. However, how they worded their response to me I'm wondering if I can just write the UPC on & they'll accept it?

Did anyone else do this Airwick rebate after purchasing at SDM & get the money back successfully?

You have to write the UPC on the receipt yourself.

yep...as per the mir form...you need to write the upc on the receipt for them to accept it...resend them with upc wriiten on them...i think you still have 'til feb 21 to send in...gl

I got mine at SDM also but I wrote the UPC myself on the receipt. Received my cheque last week.

I did the Air wick Ribbons Candle and got mine back - wrote the UPC on the receipt.

mine was refused , i cut my optiminum pts # off, and in doing so i guess i cut of the date too

You have to write down the UPC yourself.

I wrote the UPC on my Shoppers receipt and got my check last week as well. Good luck:)

I laugh when I saw this. I had done the exact same thing (I did not want them to have the last three digits of my Optimum number) but I realized I had cut out the date before I mailed it.

I usually cut the UPC off the box and mail it with the receipt, always get the cheque though!!!

Thanks! I didn't realize that the form stated I could write it on & didn't think to do so...I figured if it wasn't on the receipt from SDM than they'd either accept it or not & writing it on wasn't an option.

I will send it back in!
