Will Walmart PM with a Printed Flyer?

I want to PM the Dove Body Wash from Safeway but we don't get the sale sheet, and even though there is a safeway in Ottawa it is too far for me to travel by bus, I was wondering if I PMed with WM would they accept it if I printed off the flyer to show it to them? Has anyone ever tried it?

I've done it twice before and it's worked for me. I just made sure that I printed the first page that shows the date its valid for and then I print whatever pages I wanna use. Good luck!

I tried this at Zellers before and it didn't work .... they said they had to have the actual flyer.... best to phone and find out before you make the trek there. :)

I do it all the time at Walmart with the Loblaws flyer, never a problem!

You don't even need a hard copy of the flyer. You can just pull it up on your phone if you can. It's in their policy.

*The following are guidelines and limitations:
- We will match any local competitor's advertised price.
- We do not require customers to have the ad with them to honor a competitor's ad.
- Items purchased must be identical to the ad (size, quantity, brand, flavor, color, etc.)

just wondering where the safeway was located in Ottawa. I thought I knew all the grocery stores in national capital region (NCR):shrug:

I have used a printed copy of the No Frills flyer at the Walmart in Kemptville, no problem. However, the CSM did state that it is the American policy that states a copy of the ad is not required.

I don't know I google mapped safeway and it showed like one somewhere outside of Ottawa.

If you read the price match policy on the back of the weekly WM flyers it doesn't specifically state anything about having to have the actuall hard copy of the flyer.

I haven't tried a printed copy but I might because ketchup is on sale at FB this week and I don't get their flyer.

Goog post and question. I googled Safeway Canada and from what I read, I think Safeway is only in BC, ALBERTA and MANITOBA. So in this case, Walmart will not price match. They only price match for stores within the city. Sorry about that. I really was hoping for a Safeway around the NCR

I price matched at Walmart using a printed flyer for No Frills which is in another City but only about 35 miles away. I just asked first and that way I knew it would be ok before I tried to make the purchase.
