Does anyone have one of these...if so how do you like it?
No, but I'd really like to one! I've been making my own ice cream out of frozen bananas for years... I think this would make it a lot easier:) (and more fun!)
Hmmm....doesn't look like anyone has. Maybe item is too new? Guess I have to search this out somewhere else.
I have one!
We got it about 3 weeks ago from The Shopping Channel. Other then it being super loud we love it.
It really does make the fruit ice cream like - very creamy. You jst have to make sure your fruit isnt rock solid frozen, always leave it out for 10 to 15 min or you ca break the machine.
My fav combination so far, banana, strawberry and mango!
sounds fun! I love banana anything...
Here is the link if you want to check it out :-)

bump to see if anyone knows where to buy one besides the shopping channel.
I think bed bath beyond has it.
I bought it today off The Shopping Channel because they offered 6 easy pays.
I bought one a few days ago at Canadian Tire for $49.99. It's ok but I have discovered I really really really can't stand the taste of ripe bananas...or papaya....they recommend you only used the 'cheetah spotted' bananas, but I can't stand the taste at all. This morning, I tossed in half a frozen banana, about half a cup or so of frozen pinapple and 3 ice cubes of coconut water, then stirred in a bit of pina coloda mix. It was pretty good as I could finally mask the banana taste. Great for different flavour combinations of any frozen fruits, I just have to play a bit more with mine to find the best combos. I have yogurt freezing in cubes right now, so maybe I can get a bit more of an icecream consistency. It's worth the money if you eat a lot of icecream in the summer and want to save some fat and calories, or if you want the kids to eat something healthier, or need more fruits/fibre in your diet or are on a soft foods diet (hubby is for a week or so) but I think I'll like mine a lot more if I puree the fruit with the machine then mix it with milk for a shake.
There is a store in a mall near me that sells 'as seen on tv' stuff.. my sister got one for me there.
When we do use it we normally just skip the bananas and do straight frozen berries.
