    Really? I've never bought bananas that expensive in Ottawa. I guess there must be a price difference between here and Toronto.

    Walmart sells the Organic bananas for $0.77/lb. The regular bananas are even cheaper but really don't taste as good and spoil faster.

    I like the other way better where you had the coupon on the box. Mind you this way I might find them on the recycling and people are too lazy to bother. Goodness knows right now I really don't need more cereal. LOL

    Bananas here are normally $0.95 a lb, more for organic, Costco I can get 3lb for $1.69 these days (used to be $2.29) but can't use a coupon there and Irving sometimes has them for $0.69 per lb but usually quite ripe.

    Banana's are $.69 a pound here on sale and under $.80 regular price. $1.69 is more than enough for 2 pounds.
