That's the best brag you can have in life! Can't describe with words the feeling you have when you bring another life in to the world...
I hope you enjoy every moment of it (and many more to come)

I loved the feeling when I was pregnant - carrying the baby in your tummy everywhere you go ....*just thinking of it/I get goosies

I hope you will take many pictures of your belly

My DH and I struggled with infertility for 10 yrs - long story with lots of sadness and IVF/$ - after 7 IVF attempts, we are now the proud parents of 6 month old DD who is an absolute blessing and joy to us. Congrats to you on your pregnancy and best wishes for an easy pregnancy and delivery of a healthy baby!

One piece of advice I will offer is to scour kijiji to find baby gear. I bought 2 brand new jumperoos for $50 (Babies R US = $129) and an exersaucer for $40 (again BRU = $129). Also bought a Baby Bjorn bouncer for $40 when new it's close to $200 retail. My list goes on and on, I bought a beautiful wood sleigh cradle, my bumbo seat, tummy time mat, medela pump, baby monitor... all at great prices on kijiji.

One other great deal I got was I bought a new Baby Bullet at Bed, Bath & Beyond - regular retail $59.99 - I was able to use the Home Outfitters gift card of save $20 when you spend $50, and then HO also let me use their 20% off any item coupon - so my final total was $59.99 - $20 = $39.99 less 20% = $32 + tax. I love my baby bullet, just started using it and it's great!

    Congratulations!!!!

My two "babies" are 28 and 25 (yikes!) and my best advice would be to start an RESP as soon as possible. I looked and looked but could not find any tuition coupons.

    Good luck!!
Clothes are not a good thing to stock up on lol, they do grow out of them fast.
Diapers, Baby Wipes, Receiving blankets, some shampoo...baby shampoo tends to go a long ways though, formula if you intend to go that route,
All good things to stock up on

Congratulations!! mine is 14 LOL....man I feel old

Congratulations! Tears welled up in my eyes as I read your post. I remember that feeling of waiting, praying, trying and despairing, and then finally it happens! I wish you joy and happiness. An earlier poster said something about motherhood being the most challenging position of your life, she's right, it is, it is also the most rewarding and wonderful thing you'll ever do! Enjoy every moment!
