Thought it might be fun to share our stories of our four legged friends , who for whatever reason seem to look at our precious coupons like they are the sworn enemy
Here's a picture of my sweet little eight month old monster named Bentley "Butters" who recently decided to eat NINE of my WONDERBREAD coupons....ya...he looks innocent and all....by don't let that fool ya!

Uh boy. Looks like Bentley is in a bit of trouble.
My most recent story (there are many)... the puppies ate a $12 MIR cheque that came in the mail on Friday. They didn't seem to ingest the most important bits... but I haven't gotten brave enough to pull out the tape.
Worst part for me is... I never know which one actually was the "bad" one.
Does it matter? LMAO! They make me laugh.“Give the world the best you have and you may get hurt. Give the world your best anyway.” – Mother Teresa

My dog used to have a nasty habit for getting on the dining room table (which was always covered in coupons) and peeing all over them. It got to a point where I had to have the chairs away from the table at all times.

I can relate....the other day Butters jumped up and as I reacted he did do...and my binder that I keep my trade notes in (like a grand n toy giant three ring) went sliding off the table and the cover tore off! lol. First thought - where's the duct tape? Lmao! True story. haha

No coupon horror stories here.
Tucker saves his chops for items that squeak!
Now if someone comes out with a squeaking coupon, he'ld be all over it & then some!
He's also a good Cardboard shredder!
Im moving and have a few cardboard boxes sitting arounnd.
He is always trying to grab the lids of the boxes and rip them apart.
The best one was when i got a new tv and left the box on the floor in the bedroom.
I left to put a load of laundry in and came back to find him trying to drag the box out the bedroom but he kept getting stuck in the door way...lolLast edited by Sunshyne1; Tue, Feb 21st, 2012 at 11:03 AM.

I didnt know about coupons when we first got Snoopy ( hes 4 now) he did chew on other more expensive items ( shoes, books, sheet that was on the bed lol, the curtain, walls) MIL's dog chewed her camera, and my brothers glasses!
as for coupon chewing my cat has a paper fetish lol, she loves to "help" me clip coupons, she loves to play and chew on the scraps of paper!Last edited by aussie; Tue, Feb 21st, 2012 at 10:56 AM. Reason: typo

Oh man am I ever glad I don't have dogs!!!
I'm a cat person naturally and the only thing I can complain about is when sitting on the couch with a stack of inserts/coupons beside me and one of them jumps up into the pile thus kinda crinkling them. No biggie but I am TERRIFIED that if I leave my binder or acordian anywhere within reach it may be puked or pee'd on. It hasn't happened yet, fingers crossed, but its one of those deathly fears!Insert Clever Signature Here

LoL guys! I haven't lost a coupon to a dog yet... but one time my sister was over and I gave her an FPC for yogurt to take home (it was cardboard, cut from a cereal box). She stuck it in her purse, and it was sticking out the top. Her purse was at the door, and we were in the kitchen. Next thing you know, Tundra walks by with the corner of the coupon daintily held between his front teeth. He walked right past us with it, like it was his for the taking! We got it back before we got to see what his plan was, but he did follow us and wanted it. We had to zip the purse to ensure the safety of the yogurt fpc. Silly dog!
