So I went into shoppers today and picked up 12 bottles of the febreeze air effects stuff because it was buy one get one, so with my $4 off any 3 products it was a fantastic deal. When I checked out, my total came to $25 ( I also got two loafs of bread that were a $1 after coupons). I noticed my total was completely wrong, So I pointed it out to the cashier. She was obviously new, so she called the assistant manager over to help. I then spent the next 15 minutes having my febreeze products rung in and out several times because they were showing up at different prices. The manager then tell me that I shouldnt of even been allowed to use my coupons at al, because they were already a bogo sale, which by the way is not mentioned in their coupon policy and that I was "lucky" she was letting it go through still. By this time I had just grown impatient that now we were being lied to, and she clearly had no idea how to fix this problem. After everything, She refunded up incorrectly (an extra $5) and was completely rude to use as we apologized for the inconvenience we had caused she simply looked at us and said "Mhmm". Meanwhile, we could of actually gotten SDM for SCOP 4different times, but we didn't want to make her even more mad !! Lol, in the end tho we paid $14.44 for 12 cans of febreeze air effects that were bogo $4.99 a piece. Pretty nice deal if you ask me

crazy! You know, you could go back in (maybe when another manager is on duty) and ask for the scop - just bring your receipt.
Fantastic deal anyway though!Andrea

On the new system they ring up "regular" price and then once the cashier presses total, it readjusts. I bought 2 febreeze press and fresh thingies (they are awesome in the diaper genie). They each rang up $4.99 but when the cashier totalled the transaction, they changed to 2.49 and 2.50.

I had the same issue with Febreeze this weekend. The store had sales stickers on the shelves saying Buy 1 Febreeze for $4.49 get one free.
I had 2 4$ off coupons WUB Febreeze, so I bought 6 of them.
The total should have been: $13.47 minus 8$ (coupons) = $5.47.
Instead the total came out to $26.94 minus 8$ (coupons) = $$18.94.
The BOGO did not work in the system.
One of the employees told me the BOGO only works if you take 2 of the same "scent" of Febreeze (I had taken 6 different scents).
So on a seperate transaction I had to return the 6 different "scents" and repurchase 3 pairs of Febreeze (making sure each pair was the same "scent") and it worked. I got a refund of $13.47.
They did the refund without scanning the optimum card or the original receipt, so I ended up getting 2,694 more points than I should have. (It was 20x points on Saturday).
I don't know why they make you buy the same "scent" twice to get the BOGO. I bought 2 different kinds of Christie cookies this weekend on BOGO and it worked... SO BEWARE! Always check the receipt!

Yeah, cashiers with attitudes who don't know what they're doing is going to lose SDM customers. They act like you're wasting their valuable time. They are at work, making money and they need to know their job enough to make the transaction fast and pleasant for their customers to be repeat buyers.
Personally I've lost my love for SDM after a few similar checkouts. The best things in life...aren't things
