Got a letter from D+H fullfilment services (for Airwick mail in rebate) telling me that my purchase was not done during a valid purchase period.

I have made a copy of the receipts.

When buying items at SDM the date shows as 11/12/11 day/month/year
however it appears that they took it as month/day/year.

As a reference there is another mention of the date that say "Discover the Best in Health and Beaty - Dec 11, 2001 3:03 PM"

Has anyone had these issues before? What have you done about it?

No but good thing you took a copy of the receipts, i'd be calling and getting it sorted out right away. I just sent in two for the first time and did not take a copy of the receipt but if they try and pull that with me they'll be getting a mouthful

SDM date is actually YY/MM/DD format.

Maybe you should call them and tell them how they got it all wrong.

I'll be complaining to Reckitt Benckiser (Canada) Inc, Air Wick, and D+H, we will see who will respond.

Seems ridiculous with those numbers. You would think they would give you the benefit of the doubt, regardless. I would be calling and complaining. You bought their product on the assumption that it would be essentially free....not cool!
