Metro Brag w AIRMILES

I can proudly say, I am finally understanding the tricks from a SUPER couponer we call KOOLAID .

We are always amazed at how wonderful her brags are and most of us (including me are kinda jealous, in a good way) but always taking a pointer or two... so this brag is a way to say THANKS. FOR teaching the tricks of the trade.

METRO had bonus points this week, 3 points for every 2 packs of OASIS juice boxes you bought... I HAD 11 FPC'S to use up.. plus needed to buy the cashmere tissues..

I first scanned all my items

11 OASIS JUICE BOXES (8PKS) 2.79 -FPC (free)
1 STOUFFERS SLIDER 2.49 - FPC (free)
3 CASHMERE TOILET PAPER 2.99 each - $2 = 0.99

came to just over $40

Gave my airmiles card and then the pile of coupons so the woman says "what do you think your in the U.S. or something" and started laughing...

She said this was the first time EVER to experience this... extreme couponing.. she asked how I get my coupons and of course I told her to start by going to smartcanucks....

AFTER putting all the fpc's through my total was $4.14

I then asked HOW MANY AIRMILES DID I GET .. she says NOTHING, YOU DIDN'T PAY FOR ANYTHING then she looked at my receipt and says. OHHHHHH YOU GOT 17 hehehehehehehhehe

I also stopped at rexall and got 7 packs of white swan paper towels at .79 - 0.50 coupon total after tax was only 2.12

am saving my FPCs too for metro when they do a good deal for the airmiles , i admire koolaid too ,she is awesome with her brags and tricks!

Fpc means free purchase coupon

So u dont pay..... And i got them from trades but you can find them on boxes, like cereal boxes or kiids treats like fruit rollups etc...

nice meeting you today at Central Pkwy Mall...I bought 17 jr juices...didn't look at my air miles points...but I hope I got bonus points too...shelf still said $0.99 I had $1.00 coupons...they rang in as $1.99...got my $ back plus a SCOP!
