The WM teenage cashier that went to get a calculator to divide 88 by 2 - and then rechecked the answer.
The lady at the post office that had no idea where to put my letter to be sent to The Netherlands.
The mortgage "specialist" at a big bank that took out a calculator to determine 20% of 100, 60% of 100, and 3% of 100 on three different days, in person and over the phone. (I heard her opening her desk drawer and clicking away.)
when SC is being a d*ck and not letting me post any picshttp://files.coloribus.com/files/ads...mall-22364.jpghttp://img.izismile.com/img/img2/200...happens_01.jpghttp://img.izismile.com/img/img2/200...ens_640_46.jpghttp://img.izismile.com/img/img2/200...ens_640_46.jpghttp://img.izismile.com/img/img2/200...ens_640_46.jpg
The WM cashier that wouldn't refund my tax that was charged on a purchase of grapes, even though I showed her a receipt from the day before showing no tax. Supposedly, grapes from Chile are taxed at a different rate than California grapes - one cashier's reasoning for the difference: "California ones taste better".
It took two cashiers, one supervisor, two calculators, and 20 minutes to get my 0.52 tax back.
I need a facepalm smilie for SC....or I'm getting old and cranky.
^ The grape thing made me shake my head - its still shaking.
