Re-Menoum!
When I was pregnant of my daughter, cherries were often special (like 99 cents a pound). In one week, I bought a box of 20-25 pounds I ate. It was truly one of a pregnant woman rage I had.
ok... yesterday was owl...
but today is a dead raccoon under the shed
This smell so ouachhhhhhhhhhe
Eurk!
I'm so jealous of you who are making all the yummies with strawberries and cherries! I just went to pick up a case of strawberries, did some errands, and I have no energy for anything else . I did manage to make home made iced tea though, my first time ever. I used organic green tea, leaves from my Moroccan mint plant, fresh lemons, and organic sugar. I don't normally drink iced tea but dh and ds love it.
Lately, I've been craving a dessert (that I would eat for breakfast, lunch, and supper  )that I used to have a recipe for many years ago that I lost. Does anyone here make "far Breton aux pruneaux?" I'm looking for a recipe that shows measurements using cups and not by weight; the one I had was from a library book about Bretagne.
OMG snuff that recipe is my best kept secret... but I make it with apples... always a big hit over here and it freezes well too ( not that there is ever any left to freeze LOL) I'll post the recipe a little later tonight :)
god this is the day for animal!!!
after the racoon, we had a small baby mouse visiting ous in the yard!

European Penguin, thank you, thank you, thank you in advance :-).
Ontest, sad about the raccoon :frown:.
The little mouse is awfully cute though! I love mice...as long as they hang out under the bird feeders and don't try to come inside! My Penny hunts mice...she must have been raised by cats, lol.
1 baby mousse is usually bad news...momy, dady, uncles, auntys, bros and sis are not to far!
I'm surprise how this one was not a popping mouse! often at that stage they just jump evrywhere! and pop like pop corn!
They are in the compost... my compost is just a pile of compostable stuff (no baril, nothing), so we have rodent... anyway we are in the wood so this is their place. But if mouse come in the house, I know how is my cat... she will crunch them, we saw enough rodent viscerous around since 8 years, I know my cat hunt them.
oh, and I know how fast a colony of mouse grow ;)
This one is more than 14 days, probably less than 21 days...
will be able to reproduce in 3 weeks approx
For you ladies who make your own jam, would you consider selling some to those of us who are not so "martha stewartish" in the kitchen. (in other words, not very good cooks :)
Parc Safari was great , what a gorgeous day. Not a crazy amount of people either so it was very pleasant.
