As promised to snuff yesterday ( pmed you the recipe) here is my "Far aux pommes" recipe:
6 eggs
12 apples ( choose a type that will hold after cooking)
250 gr flour
250 gr sugar
1 L milk
vanilla & rum to taste
60 ml of melted butter ( optional but better with)
. preheat oven to 350 F
. peel and cut apples in half
.butter a oven-safe dish ( Pyrex works well)and put the apples cut size down
.bake for about 20 minutes
.mix all other ingredients except for the butter
. pour mix over the apples
. pour melted butter on top
. cook until golden
Hope this helps! I have made it with apples, cherries, plum always a hit! I also add a drop of almond extract for added flavor.
Happy cooking!

Looking at these videos really makes me stick to my vegan diet. Example:

I actually cured my diabetes by not eating any animal products so for me to start eating that again would mean taking pills and going to the doctor 3-4 times a year and checking my blood/glucose constantly. I would rather avoid these foods completely since they are linked not only to diabetes, but heart disease and cancer.

Remember that guy on Kijiji who was looking for somebody to pass a french test?
On the Journal de Montreal today they speak about him and said that he has been identified...
I had found that so sad/funny.

Hi,
I am travelling to Montreal to the Just for Laughs festival (from BC), and I was wondering if anyone knew what restaurants there are in downtown that is good and inexpensive. Or, if there were restaurant coupons or deals? Thank you in advance for your time.

Where are you staying when you are here? Downtown? Odd are, all restaurants are good even the cheaper ones, but it depends on where you are. As for coupons, have you considered getting an Entertainment book? I think they are $8.99 as per the link with free shipping. That should cover all types of dining you prefer and in your price range.
