    @ Georgia:

Yes you can cook it in microwave. But I think it's only something like 1m30s.

It actually cooled on the kitchen table & rack for about 20-30 minutes before I stuck it in the fridge for 15, so I'm pretty sure it'll be fine. Maybe it's the tool , maybe it's the user.. but the frosting looks a lil' "rustic" lol, will post a pic tomorrow

One of the (many) blogs I read had a recipe for mug cake (from scratch).
Here's the link if anyone's interested. I've never made it though.

Thanks Tbites, I've been looking for opportunities to use that one.

In yesterday's Journal de Montreal, there was an ad saying there would be coupons for several activities in today's paper, including Granby Zoo and Parc Safari.
Can anyone confirm if they are there and what the details of the coupons are.

My Maxi & Cie (Papineau & Crémazie) had blueberries for 2/$2.00. That's half the advertised price.
They seemed good, a few had a moldy berry, but most were fine.

I recently discovered an amazing recipe for Blueberry Lemon Cake (from yet another blog I read). I have no excuse now for not making it this weekend. It's so delicious and refreshing this time of year. mmmmm.

Saw a sign in the milk section of my Metro supermarket that the Natrel Summer Tour would be there next Sunday July 15th. No times mentioned.
Went online and found this on their Facebook page ( www.facebook.com/natrel )

Mmmm ... cupcakes! And if we're lucky, coupons!

I used the one for Parc Safari this week $10 off per car. They are in the paper every week during the summer. The Granby zoo one is also $10 off per car.

Now now, think cool thoughts....shoveling the car from under a mountain of snow, scrapping the ice off the windshield. What about the spray of slush from the tires of a car?
