In yesterday's Journal de Montreal, there was an ad saying there would be coupons for several activities in today's paper, including Granby Zoo and Parc Safari.
Can anyone confirm if they are there and what the details of the coupons are.

My Maxi & Cie (Papineau & Crémazie) had blueberries for 2/$2.00. That's half the advertised price.
They seemed good, a few had a moldy berry, but most were fine.

I recently discovered an amazing recipe for Blueberry Lemon Cake (from yet another blog I read). I have no excuse now for not making it this weekend. It's so delicious and refreshing this time of year. mmmmm.

Actually, you can bake a cake on the BBQ. Just do a google search.

For the longueuil girls did you see there is a sign saying Walmart where the zellers used to be at Place Desormeaux, I don't get it the other walmart is like four block away. Also it is going to be a very small walmart because the zellers was not that big.....

A couple of years ago there was a big "explosion" that came from my oven. Turned out it was just one of the elements burning out, A new one cost about $30 at Reno Depot, and it was easy to replace, just two screws holding it in place.

I hope your oven issues are as easily fixed.

For want I heard, WalMart will take the emplacement of a couple of Zellers so the can be see more that Target and not loss the market. It won't be different that having the 2 Super C so close to each other.

Phew!!! DH and I rented a rug cleaning machine and cleaned our rugs this morning! All nice and clean.

So here's the Mojito Genoise. Didn't quite turn out as good as it looks, I beat those eggs forever so it might be the all purpose flour that made it so dense. Love the flavor, but too dense for my liking.... Oh well, can't win them all. AnnieP, I won't be redoing this later this month.
