I thought the same thing about Swagbucks, unless it's changed very recently? Last time I checked about a month ago, QC was not included...
I use my mother's address in Ontario :redface:.

I want to gag :yikes:
A few yrs ago, (in the US) the fact that meat was being washed in ammonia before being put up for sale in supermarkets was brought up but not too much hoopla was raised about it. Now, I just read that finally people are causing a stink because "pink slime" is being used in schools as well as being sold in stores...It reminds me of the fear my family always has in the States about purchasing meat, always have to purchase organic.
Pink slime: "lean finely textured beef," a low-cost ingredient in ground beef made from fatty bits of meat left over from other cuts. The bits are heated to about 37 C (100 F) and spun to remove most of the fat. The lean mix then is compressed into blocks for use in ground meat. The product, made by South Dakota-based Beef Products Inc., also is exposed to "a puff of ammonium hydroxide gas" to kill bacteria, such as E. coli and salmonella.
:eek::eek::eek:
I would never buy meat in the states, we went to Vermont for years and when we stayed there we always brought our own. My mom worked for a meat packer for 18 years so we heard all the stories.
Whatever happened to "Wisk" ? I remember my Mom using it when I was a kid but I don't think I've seen it on any shelves here ? (Or seen coupons for it )
I think Wisk is still sold in the US, but I have never seen it here...How old are you Tbites? :P
