I finish work at 11pm. I get home and the boyfriend is asleep, sometimes he grunts me a hello. He's usually gone by the time I wake up.
During the day I try to do the housework and prepare dinner (at noon), and then I leave for work, he comes home a few hours after I leave for work.
Anyone here have kids and work evening or night shift?

I'm on maternity leave right now, but will return in November to work, 7 days over 2 weeks time and I have to work 1 week-end...no idea how it will be but at least I'n not going to be working full time! I usually do a lot of cleaning & prep dinner & supper when I get home from work.
Get to bed around 4am....but we'll see how it goes in Nov!!

Well I turned on the freezer just to see and wow what a noise definitely the compressor. So do i want to spend the money on getting it fixed which will likely be around $300 of try to find a new ones for under $500 which will be more efficient anyways. Probably option #2 and of course what a lovely day to go shopping

Any chance you have a "rewards" credit card ? My Visa rewards gets me GC for various stores, but take 2-3 weeks to arrive... don't know where you would store the food in the meantime

I had to think about that one, lol. No, they're not. My boys are perfect . At least that's what I've been telling myself the past 20+ years to help keep my sanity, lol.

ok, I need to ask this because I am confused. There is this lady in Ontario who says that we can stack coupons on diapers at jean coutu. Nowhere in their policy does it say so and I have asked at my local JC with no luck. I sent an email to them to ask for clarification, but does anyone know if this is true?

I'm lucky if they take a coupon at all at Jean-Coutu, lol. Last time I used one there it took 10 minutes, two cashiers, the manager, and a magnifying glass to have it approved .

Patty, is that Mega Turkey you got after the holidays still in the freezer? If so, you better cook it soon ... and invite us all over for some bird!

I'm having french fries for breakfast right now. I've convinced myself that it's a healthy breakfast, as they're potatoes, so a vegetable and a starch. I'm having them with ketchup, which are really just squished tomatoes, so more vegetables, and also with mayonnaise, which is made from eggs, so I have my protein too.

I can blow a lot of holes in that theory, but I won't. As long as you are enjoying yourself it's all good.
