bah, just maybe said"oh btw way if you don't think you will use that little coupon on the cereal box, could you give it to me after the bos will be finish?"
Heyhey this is like me with mason jar when I give to someone... I said often, "If you didn't plan to reuse the jar and want to put it in recycle bin, I will do the recycle bin for the next time I offer you something canned"...
Always a bit "treacky" to do...Last edited by 2010ontest; Tue, May 1st, 2012 at 07:31 AM.

ontest, that's exactly what DH and I settled on lol...It's a good in-between I guess! Georgia, I had no shame at first either, but when DH gave me a strange look after I told him I want the boxes back, I realized I may look a little rabid to non-couponers

Last night I felt like eating yogurt. I only buy plain yogourt for me, I can add topping I love. Unfortunately, I did not eat yogurt. When opening the tub (still sealed), large mold (moisissures) made me beautiful smiles. Yuck! The expiration date was still correct ...

This hapen sometime if the yogurt have a "bad" manipulation (variation in temperature) and high level of mold spore... and if you container have to much oxygène on top... mold could start to grow on those conditions. Or if the seal was not perfect and alloid gaz exchange.

Sorry to read this AnnieP. Your story reminded me of how this one time DH's boss (also his friend so they share anecdotes) went to the fridge at his home in the middle of the night to eat some yogurt. He noticed that there was a green lump in the middle of the yogurt but figured it was only his wife's "green stuff" (you know, veggie magma powder or the like, since she buys items like that). So he stirred it up and ate it all. Next day, his wife freaked on him looking for the yogurt tub. The yogurt had gone bad but she didn't want to throw it out until garbage day so it would not smell. LOL, he didn't even notice the mold! His wife then went to work (they work at the same place as DH) and was worried all day that he would get sick. We reassured her it was no worse than eating aged moldy cheese. Some men have no clue

My Cheap Homemade Café Latté
Take your favourite mug, fill it with your favourite milk (I use 1%)
Microwave it until it's nice and hot, (be careful, if you over-nuke it, it will overflow and then you'll have a mess to clean).
Add a big teaspoon of instant coffee. And some honey or sugar if you so choose. Stir well.
Sit at your computer and log on to Smart Cunucks.
Enjoy!
I'm not a coffee expert, but I find that this is super-yummy. Maybe it's the honey I add to it, usually I don't sweeten my coffee, so that may be why I find this so good.
Oh, and the fact that I don't have to clean a coffee maker afterwards, that's also a plus.

I make my own ice capp. In a blender, add ice cubes, a squirt of Nescafe ice java cappuccino syrup, and chocolate milk. You have to experiment to get your own sweetness and ice consistency. I like mine really thick, not watery.
