Borax for ants they have at reno.
I've used liquid borax for ants... I'm looking for the powder form to dilute in water and treat the lawn with it. Whether it's in the laundry soap form or not, I don't think should matter, borax is mostly BORON but cheaper than a pest deterrent product....... actually if there's any actual soap in the detergent it might also act as a bonding agent for the treatment... We use that when earth defreeze in spring here and ants appears. In the wood we have alot of ants (this is normal) and they take the house like a highway sometime! So spring we do a big clean-up of floor (yep often food on floor with kids) and we put the borax powder on the slab around the house. After few day we are ok.
