The only computer I can see this on is one of those HP Touch Smart computers.
I tried it the day it came out. Uninstalled it hours later.

Thanks! I find it ironic that someone's trying to be "helpful" but hasn't even read the requirements themselves...

I downloaded the Windows 8 preview and installed it in VirtualBox. It's really terrible. I can see it being okay on a tablet computer, but not on a desktop or laptop. In my opinion, it's a complete disaster for a normal computer.

Installed the Windows 8 Consumer Preview last night.....was not impressed. Could not get Windows 8 to recognize my audio or video card. No use having a PC if your restricted to a specific resolution and no sound. I found it challenging to get rid of Windows 8 after it was installed.....but finally on the 4th attempt the Windows XP CD booted up and I was able to go back to Windows XP. Required a complete reformat of the harddrive.
I don't recommend anyone who is not computer-saavy install Windows 8.

I am curious about Windows 8. Windows 7 was a major improvement in comparison to XP. I hope that they won't release a new OS every year, or every 2 years though.

Yes, it boots really fast, faster than my Asus Transformer.
The UI is a bit confusing though but once I learn the shortcuts, I am okay without the Start menu.
some applications aren't finished yet. And logout hang once. hopefully they will release RC1 with better stability.
