I've always used the clothesline spring summer and fall. I do a quick critter check as I'm taking things off and again as I'm folding. No spidey is going to sneak up on me! Like others have said, love the smell of air dried linens on the bed, makes the whole room smell great! After a long winter I look forward to the first load done on the line outside.

We have a long clothesline running from our deck to a pole, so I can hang at least two full loads out. In the winter, I always hang the towels/linens out when it's sunny (yes, I have neighbours that probably think I'm crazy) but hang all the other clothes on drying racks in the basement.

I hang laundry out from April till about late October I have a long lime and an umbrella clothes line. As for bugs I have had a few while folding laundry never when we went to put clothes on...I always give everything a really good shake when it comes off the line to get rid of any bugs

I can't wait to use the clothes line We never use to be 'allowed' to have one but when the smart meters came in they passed something, not sure if it was our township or province but we are now allowed to have a clothes line. The one I have will hold 3 loads of laundry Smells so nice! Jeans and towels get a 10 min run in the dryer when they come off the line

Bugs!! Oh, I didn't think of that!
We don't line dry, but we have a small hanging rack that folds away after the clothes are dry. In winter months, I put them over a heat vent and in summer, it just goes out the patio door.
I assume if there were any bugs to come near, our guard (kitty) would get them.

I remember Delta Burke as Suzanne Sugarbaker saying "The man should have to kill the bug!!"
....Followed up with Russell Peters saying "Be a man!"
Apparently, your manly bug killers keep the bodies in their pockets.

I don't have a dryer. I always use a drying rack all year round. During winter, I put it right where the heating vent is, on the ground floor. When it's hot, I put it outside.

I hate line drying. Things dried outside often make me sneeze. The only reason I do it is to save on Hydro.

I've always line dried! Sometimes I actually line dry in winter (on the very windy days, it works pretty well!).
