I love the Vileda Scrunge for ceramic cooktops... it makes it look brand new every time I clean it
I haven't worried about what kind of pots I use on it... it came with my house, and I have no idea how the previous owners treated it, but there is not a scratch on it

I use baking soda paste on really tough spots on my glass range top.
LF: Chapman's ice cream and Dare coupons. DS has a peanut allergy so it's the ONLY ones we buy. Lots FT.

I also use baking soda to clean my stove top. Just use a wet cloth to wipe up after and remove the residue.

I had a black ceramic top electric stove and hated it. I always liked to get everything cleaned up right after supper was done. With this stove it was always toooo hot to wipe it clean. Had to wait way to long to wipe it down. To me it always looked dirty or smoogy????? Sold it and went back to a gas stove with griddle in middel and cast iron grates. Loving it. Just my opinion though.

Use a Norwex 'Scrub' cloth - has silver threads in it. Cleans up every spec and never sratches!
